A long and stressful day – had the events all working nicely storing data in array and then made the switch to a dedicated SQL table storing dates as dates and times as time, standardising everything in the process, but as such, I’ve also completely knackered everything and gotten to the point where I’m now pulling out my hair… Hope to get back on track by the end of the week – for the sake of my sanity…

I managed to get most of the core functionality for the events in place before I left, including full (optional) integration with BuddyPress groups, but need to move the event meta from postmeta into it’s own dedicated table, which I will do when I get back from Chinese New Year…

Turns out that if you stay until past midnight, the pixies and elves come out to play and solve all possible problems – everything is now hunky-dory!
